Paul Bielaczyc is a Mediator and an Attorney with an extensive background in civil litigation. He has over 18 years experience handling a wide assortment of cases as a litigator in Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo counties as well as throughout all of California.  In 1989, he started his law career as a sole practitioner and was hired in 1991 as an associate handling all aspects of civil litigation. In 2003, he renewed his work as a sole practitioner adding Mediation services.

In 2003, after receiving formal training, Mr. Bielaczyc became certified as a Mediator. Since that time, he has continually offered his services in numerous local forums. He has been active as a Settlement Master of the Santa Barbara Superior Court facilitating Mandatory Settlement Conferences. He is a panelist for the Santa Barbara Superior Court CADRe program, as well as the Ventura and San Luis Obispo Superior Court Mediation programs. He is also a member of the panels for the Ventura Center for Dispute Settlement and Creative Mediation of San Luis Obispo.

Mr. Bielaczyc utilizes a combination of the Facilitative, Transformative and Evaluative methods of dispute resolution. He recognizes that each and every case is unique, not only based on the specific facts, but more importantly, based upon  who is involved in each mediation.  With this guiding principle, Mr. Bielaczyc blends the 3 methods in order to accommodate the unique character of each case. He handles the intricacies of each case with patience and consistency in a non-threatening manner. Ultimately, Mr. Bielaczyc works carefully with all sides to develop a satisfactory settlement agreement.
