Since 1983 Mr. Brand has been a full time neutral, teaching part-time at Hastings for several years, acting as an ADR columnist for the Daily Journal for several years, and publishing books and articles in the ADR field. He has spoken widely and testified before the legislature on ADR matters. In 1998 he was President of the California Dispute Resolution Council. He is a member of the American Arbitration Association’s Large Complex Case Panel, Commercial Panel, Employment Panel, ERISA/MPPAA Panel, and Labor Panel.
