Kevin Thomas McIvers is a full-time attorney mediator and arbitrator with a strong background in major civil litigation. He excels at mediating complex cases, and those cases which have failed to settle at prior settlement conferences or mediations. His settlement rate is well over 90%. He has had extensive formal training in mediation and negotiation, and speaks at MCLE presentations on ADR topics.

    Mr. McIvers began his dispute resolution career in 1985 as a Settlement Judge Pro Tempore in the Santa Barbara Superior Court, and has mediated hundreds of settlements in court and privately. He co-chairs the ADR Section of the Santa Barbara County Bar Association. Mr. McIvers serves as an Arbitrator on a broad range of civil matters, including business, multi-party construction and serious personal injury cases.
